Collecting microplastics with Surfing for Science

Surfing for Science is a pioneering project to analyze the levels of microplastics in coastal areas.
Together with Surfriders, we collected microplastics with paddle surfboards in collaboration with the University of Barcelona. The samples were catalogued and taken to the university laboratory to be analyzed and used in laboratory studies.
